Food Wars, May 10, 2008
FOODWARS was an event we did in May 2008 in conjuction with the Summer Stockpile Food Program, and in turn the Oregon Food Bank, which raised over 1000 cans of food in a single evening. This was our first large scale charity event, pitting 20 different local arists against each other to see whos fanbase could bring in the most canned goods. This turned out to be very competitive...
Portland's very own My-G, was declared the winner and crowned "PORTLAND's KING of the HUNGRY 2008" in a lovely ceremony at the end of the evening. |
