Hot Nights Warm Coats 2

Together we organize and host large scale local music events benefiting local Portland charities. This summers' event is "Hot Nights/Warm Coats" at Blitz Ladd on Sept 13th, 2009 from 2-9pm for our friends at Impact Northwest.
We are trying to collect over 2,000 "gently used" coats for the upcoming winter. We are offering an all day event featuring 24 of the hottest underground artists in the city all in one place! 24 acts...one venue...one night.
This year will be the fifth time we have worked in partnership with Impact NW. We've raised over onethousand winter coats for local, underprivileged Multnomah county and Southwest Washington families that aren't yet homeless, but nonetheless need help from us.
Impact Northwest's mission is to help people achieve and maintain self-sufficiency and to prevent and alleviate the effects of poverty. We have made it our mission to provide these people with basic staples of a good self esteem. Everybody deserves a good winter coat!
Donation barrels have been placed around Multnomah County at local businesses in order to collect as many "gently used" coats as possible.
